Peanut Butter Blossom Bars

Peanut Butter Blossom Bars are a delightful twist on the classic Peanut Butter Blossom cookies. Here’s a recipe for making these delicious bars:

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • About 30-35 Hershey’s Kisses, unwrapped

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides for easy removal.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, brown sugar, and peanut butter. Mix until well combined and smooth.
  3. Add the egg and vanilla extract to the peanut butter mixture, and mix until smooth and creamy.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
  6. Spread the dough evenly into the prepared baking pan, using a spatula or your hands to press it down firmly.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. While the bars are still warm, gently press the unwrapped Hershey’s Kisses into the top of the bars, spacing them evenly apart.
  9. Allow the bars to cool completely in the pan on a wire rack. Once cooled, use the parchment paper overhang to lift the bars out of the pan and transfer them to a cutting board.
  10. Cut the bars into squares or rectangles, making sure each piece has a Hershey’s Kiss in the center.
  11. Serve and enjoy these delicious Peanut Butter Blossom Bars! They can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.

These bars are perfect for any occasion and are sure to be a hit with peanut butter and chocolate lovers alike!
